Ecostar Green is an innovative circular economy initiative jointly developed by the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund, SOCAR Downstream and Italy’s Technip Energies. The project introduces a modern approach to recovering plastic waste and returning it to the economic value chain. Using Alterra pyrolysis technology, the initiative will convert discarded plastics into pyrolysis oil that can serve as a valuable industrial resource and an alternative energy source. The project supports more efficient waste management, the wider application of circular production models and the development of greener industrial solutions in Azerbaijan.
