Cooperation with Turkmenistan was discussed.

The prospects for developing economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan were discussed at a meeting held at the Ministry of Economy.

Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Deryageldi Orazov, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan, on the sidelines of the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13).

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for the development of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. They highlighted the positive results of cooperation in investment, transport and logistics, and transit transportation.

The parties also exchanged views on promoting cooperation in trade, energy, and other areas, expanding regional economic ties, and exploring new opportunities for partnership.

They noted that further deepening economic cooperation would contribute to the sustainable development of both countries and strengthen economic integration in the region.
