Economic and trade cooperation with Slovakia was discussed

Views were exchanged on cooperation with Slovakia in industry, trade, energy, infrastructure, and other areas.

Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Samuel Migaľ, Minister of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic, on the sidelines of the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13).

During the meeting, the dynamic development of relations between Azerbaijan and Slovakia was highlighted, and it was noted that expanding economic cooperation makes an important contribution to strengthening the partnership between the two countries. The parties reviewed the existing cooperation agenda and noted the broad opportunities available for further deepening economic ties.

The discussions focused on promoting mutual investment and expanding relations between business entities. The parties also exchanged views on cooperation in industry, trade, energy, infrastructure, and regional development.
