The expansion of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan was discussed

At a meeting held at the Ministry of Economy, the parties discussed the development of the strategic partnership with Uzbekistan, the deepening of economic ties, and the expansion of mutual investment and bilateral trade.

Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Laziz Kudratov, Co-Chair of the Azerbaijan–Uzbekistan Joint Intergovernmental Commission and Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, it was emphasised that the relations of friendship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are developing successfully. The importance of the projects implemented between the two countries in strengthening economic cooperation was also highlighted.

The parties discussed increasing mutual investment and trade turnover, implementing joint investment and infrastructure projects, and expanding cooperation in the industrial sector.
